Do You Have Sleep Apnea?

Extremely loud snoring? Excessive daytime sleepiness? Awakening with a dry mouth or sore throat? Morning headaches?

If you identified with any of these conditions, you could be suffering from a serious sleep condition, Sleep Apnea.

WHAT IS SLEEP APNEA?

This is a potentially fatal breathing disorder that occurs during sleep. Essentially, sufferers repeatedly stop breathing while they’re sleeping. This could result in the body not receiving enough oxygen.

HOW WE CAN HELP

We are thrilled to announce that our office is now treating mild to moderate sleep apnea as we are now able to make an oral mandibular advancement splint (MAS). This is a device that is inserted in the mouth to help treat sleep apnea.

We offer home sleep tests, in which a Sleep Apnea Specialist MD analyzes the situation and sends us a detailed report.

The Eccovision Acoustic Pharyngometer will give us an accurate position for where to place the jaw to get the best results while keeping the sleeper a comfortable position.

Mandibular advancement splints may also help improve:

  • Hypertension
  • Coronary artery disease
  • Stroke
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Migraine/tension headache syndrome
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Mitral valve prolapse syndrome
  • Restless leg depression
  • Depression

We have over 10 years’ worth of experience and research in sleep apnea oral appliance therapy.  Please call our office to schedule a complimentary consultation. We will be happy to test, answer any concerns, and file your medical insurance.  We are here to walk you through each step to help you enjoy a peaceful night of sleep again!

“Best dentist experience I have ever had! The staff will treat you like royalty. They offer blankets if you’re cold and if you’re like me and super tense you can even get a hand massage! Dr. Lauvetz Enmeier even calls me personally after procedures to make sure I’m doing okay. Won’t go anywhere else!”
